As a Game Level Designer, you will:

  • Design and balance appealing levels, missions, and experiences from concept, to creation using internal tools. 
  • Design the structure and the order of levels to create an ideal progression for the player.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts to understand level performance through analytics and adjust levels accordingly.
  • Adjust and modify designs and the game levels based on game metrics, team input, internal/external playtests, and community feedback 
  • Working with a talented and cross-discipline team to grow the product by adding new levels while also continuously improving the existing game experience. 
  • Communicate design clearly and concisely with the team and throughout the studio
  • Inspire the agile and multidisciplinary game team through progressive & creative design 


Requirements

Game Level Designer role requires:

  • A consistent 5+ years track record of (relevant and released) Casual and/or Hybrid Casual games, at least 3+ years specifically on Hybrid/Casual Puzzles.
  • Profound insight into the level balancing, pacing & difficulty tuning
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and critical thinking 
  • Independent, self-motivated, driving new initiatives to improve the game.
  • Strong empathic ability to understand and “feel” our target audience
  • You embrace F2P and enjoy working with KPIs and analytics to adjust your designs in data-driven decisions
  • Learning and applying collected player feedback
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in data spreadsheets and working with analytical and technical tools
  • Ability to work with remote teams
